Talking CT1 zoom patch

i want to make a lil patch for myself because i'm annoyed with right double click = camera moved over toon's head. i want to patch kamael client folder with l2encdec then try to use some l2.ini/user.ini files. can this work? or they've changed their ridiculous encryption things into something another but same useless? as for now, i had no tries because my bad feelings about random korean logics... :|

CT1 is going to be harder. l2.exe, along with gg, is also "protected" with themida.

The only thing i wish to turn off is camera move to standard altitude when double click right mouse button. that hurts me alot at PTS. middle button behavior is not so annoying... hehe... now everyone who doesn't like their stupid default keys bind must read some infos to remove their annoying things.

heh, got it. thx, dstuff.

So, any chances it could be "fixed"?

I'm also making this only for "right mouse" thingie (and also overbright fix, but it is not that critical).

And the new patcher for l2.exe or a patched l2.exe to the english PTS client... You'll do it?

The patcher works either way. L2 patched, starting with ct1 won't - as long as l2.exe is protected by that thing.

If you have the powers to make NC leak their rsa keys used in L2 - then it's another story.

I read on some forums themida can be prevented (or something else) from running.
So if I find some way to disable themida somehow, that will allow me to patch l2.exe same way as now. Am i correct? Or will i need some harder workaround? I'm pretty lame at this things right now. So I need some initial popular basic infos/links/etc to appreciate the sense of bothering it.

Well... I won't give the hope to anyone. I suppose that thing will take long enough time for a person who never bothered protection systems to make it's removal useless. LOL.

PS. Ops, I forgot say "thank you ncsoft" for another thumbtack at players chairs.
