Was trying to decode weapongrp.dat with encdec, but all i got - is hardly readable file, where I can't even got an ID of the item...

F:\LineageStuff\>l2encdec.exe -s weapongrp.dat weapongrp.txt
Input file: "weapongrp.dat"
Output file (given or generated): "weapongrp.txt"

Header: "Lineage2Ver412"
Action chosen: decode
Outer stream size: 54400
Custom RSA pair #0 chosen.

RSA dec call.
Packs: 425
At 0/425....
At 256/425....
RSA dec call completed.

also were trying all other arguments.
this is what I were decoding: http://www.gryphon-clan.ru/alfuken/trash_personal/lineage/weapongrp.rar
and this is what I've got: http://www.gryphon-clan.ru/alfuken/trash_personal/lineage/weapongrp.rar

Can you help me with this? I just wanna see all that shit readable... At least, more readable than it is now...
Is it suppose to be so, or it is `broken` ?

Ah, and 1 more thing - this file is from patch of lineage2world.com servers.

Yea, I do. I even sometimes reply

Those 2 rars are identical.

Decrypted *.dat are binary files, so they are hardly readable by design.

Yeah, identical, i know.. it's just that in .rar is both original and decoded files
AFAIK, some of those files till version 4** was easy readable, and some of the 4** too (in C2, i think)

Is this really the best that encdec can do?...

And both are perfectly ok. That's how decrypted dat files look like. The next step is l2disasm.

that step i've already passed throught, also in different combinations, variants, etc.: all i got is empty file, absolutelly empty, 0 bytes size...

L2disasm works well with your file.
