1st of all, I feel that guide in http://dstuff.l2wh.com make us so confuse.
so when i find out HOW to install the patch, I decide to make a guide...
P/S: I simply call Lineage 2 folder L2

1st, install ur L2 client n update it (only if u play in private, official no need re-install)
2nd, patch the L2 with l2encdec
(for how to patch, copy n paste l2encdec.exe and patcher.exe into L2/system folder den run the patcher.exe, if every things goes good, u will success patch)
3rd, copy n paste the nud patch u wanna to use
(all format in *.UTX put in L2/systextures folder,
n the format in *.DAT n *.INI put in system folder.)
4th, if u play in private, now is the time u install private patch.
5th, log in n test
5th, if success, enjoy xD

Check Point:
Update n PATCH ur L2 server before input those nud patch or other fild,
if u play in private, u MUST re-install L2 Folder

"Rename to armorgrp.dat, then overwrite in system directory."

Requires NakedButx pack.
You must patch L2 with L2encdec first.

You have to replace LIN2DIR with real path (point 2).

Ok I can get it to almost work lol. ALthough their bodies are a solid grey tone with no features whatsoever. is their something im doing wrong?

If the bodies are grey, then it means that your dat files responsbile for textures are messed in one or the other way (grey == untextured).

Actually I have the same problem. I can get your NakedU texture mod to work so I know I got the dat files down but the others I tried I get greyscale bodies. Is there soemthing special I need to do or change on the .utx files?

Hi, I don't know what's wrong with my patching process.
I am C4 private server user, and here is what I've done :

1. Download l2encdec_272.zip , NakedU_100.zip , NakedB_130.zip , and NakedButx_130.7z and unzip them.

2. Install L2 on my computer and run l2encdec patcher. (Patcher worked fine)

3. Put chargrp.dat & armorgrp.dat into L2 system folder.

4. Put NBNoS.utx & NBShd.utx into systextures folder.

5. Update L2 from my private server. (it worked fine)

6. Run L2 but there's NOTHING changed. (yes, this is my problem)

any advice will be appriciated, thanks :)

do i replace the original chargrp file with the chargrp from the mod? i tired that but instead i cant even seen any character models. then i kept the original in with the new chargrp.dat file nothing happens. any suggestions? (i did everything in the guide btw)

dont worry i worked it out i just had to rename it to chargrp not 'chargrp.dat' since its already a .dat file. all the stuff everyone said before confused me thanks anyways

so basically i did everything right but on L2extreme, nothing is changed. is the private server patcher modifying the textures??

i noticed that when i went back to the systexture folder, all the dats were gone after i patched it with the private server patcher in the last step.

my question: does this mod work for L2extreme? if so, plz tell me how you got it to work.

I've had this same problem with L2x also, have you tried asking around on the forumsthere? the GM's aparently don't mind if you use it. I've only been having problem with the armor patch, the full nude patch only works like and underwear patch, so they're only nude if there is no armor equipped. I hope there's a way for this to work on L2x :?

i got it to work. i actually forgot to rename the chargrpfile.dat or w/e to "chargrp"

once, you rename it, it works fine. i was also able to add other texture mods without reinstalling the game afterwards since it is already patched.

make sure you follow the directions exactly and also check the USAGE file with notepad (included with all texture files) just in case.

just to let you all know, (at least for L2x)

everytime you update, check if the updater is downloading the file "chargrp.dat" because if it is, then it will overwrite the chargrp nude texture that you already applied. so if it downloads that, you have to overwrite the updated "chargrp.dat" with your nude chargrp once again.

BTW i'm Guest69 and asdf1. i don't feel like making an account here..

I copied the texture files into the proper folders except they didn't exactly work. The nude patch only worked if there was no armor on, and the nude armor patch didnt work at all. Do I have to use the L2 encoder? because that doesnt work either :? Or is there something else I'm doing wrong?

Those textures (or very similar) are in NakedF. If NakedU works for you, this one will too.

I am having problem trying to patch the .txt file into the game. I've taken the .txt off the name, but it still says at the end of the patcher stuff that

patching file "chargrp,txt" failed

What am I doing wrong?
