...but how do I get the texture packs and mods to work? I already have L2 in a "patched" state, so where do I go from there?
Is this something realted to the L2WH database? I think you may be posting to the wrong site.

Ah, oops didn't see a forum on the other site. Sorry about that.
Edit: Wait, where is the L2WH database forum?
this is it. Im guessing you are talking about the DStuff correct? If so, i dont think you will really get an answere here, but you might get lucky.

If you have L2 in the patched state, then it's a matter of simple file replacing / copying:
*.utx files to systextures under L2 folder
*.dat / *.ini files after renaming (some archives have more than one file) to system under L2 folder

What do u mean by renaming the Dat/Ini files?
I patch L2enc succesfully and copy the extracted utx files into systex.
THe dat files named chargrp.dat i copy straight into System - do i need to rename it? and if what do i remane it to :)
Thanks heaps!!
NakedB has files like armorgrpC3.dat, armorgrpC4.dat ...
The renaming should be obvious :p

Hmmmm, I renamed it to armourgrp.dat.....is that wrong? If so yah I'm stupid, but what should it be renamed to :)
You can check what are the names of the files in L2. :?
Thanks alot for all the effort in keeping these files running and sorry to be a complete computar newb but honestly, I have no idea what you mean by reanming these files.
Previously, in c3, I just followed the instructions, copied the relvant files into the right folders and it all just worked.
I never had to rename any files and I am not sure what has changed in c4 which requires this.
If you could help me out it would be much appreciated.
I'm sorry for the trouble and thanks in advance.
I was specifically refering to the Armour patch only.
Sorry for the additional input.

I don't have this prob with servername-e.dat....
And i have nother question its possible to make that a little more "placed" or "beautiful" when its decoded? ^^

You have never, ever changed a filename ? Come on...
And i have nother question its possible to make that a little more "placed" or "beautiful" when its decoded? ^^
You can control separator field with FS.
You can also use ORD and SKIPIF properties in ddf - to adjust what you want to be printed and in what order.
What "more beautiful" do you have in mind precisely ?

I'm with that other fellow, I'm still not sure what files need renaming.
NakedB:
armorgrpC3.dat
armorgrpC4.dat
choose one depending on the chronicle, then to armorgrp.dat
NakedF:
chargrp1_C3.dat
chargrp1_C4.dat
chargrp2_C3.dat
chargrp2_C4.dat
chargrp3_C3.dat
chargrp3_C4.dat
chargrp1_C2.txt
chargrp2_C2.txt
chargrp3_C2.txt
choose one depending on chronicle and HFM's breast version (1 and 2 are very similar, 3 is different and uses different mesh), then rename to chargrp.txt (c2) or chargrp.dat (c3+)
NakedS & NakedU:
similary to above explanations

Like that
server_id tag_? server_name server_desc
0 1 LegacyOfChaos
1 1 Test
2 1 Kain
3 1 Lionna
Or like that
server_name_begin id=0 name=[LegacyOfChaos] desc=[] server_name_end
server_name_begin id=1 name=[Sieghardt] desc=[] server_name_end
server_name_begin id=2 name=[Kain] desc=[] server_name_end
server_name_begin id=3 name=[Lionna] desc=[] server_name_end
server_name_begin id=4 name=[Erica] desc=[] server_name_end
server_name_begin id=5 name=[Gustin] desc=[] server_name_end
server_name_begin id=6 name=[Devianne] desc=[] server_name_end
(its possible? that not so bad but its more comprehensible like that)
And for the weapongrp.dat that dont work for me.. its decrypted and i use 0.89....
Ps: I like ur decoder so much!!!
Remember that you can define/make your own ddf files. It's like language. So you can define your own tags.
l2disasm output is supposed to be simple, but well defined. You can use any other tool - awk, sed, perl, other languages - to reformat it further.

I don't have knowlegde for that.. (for the moment) and im not english and im not perfectly bilangue so its a little hard for me :S.
But the real prob is the weapongrp.dat ^^ unable to decode ^^ that do nothing..
