Hello,
This is the documentation of the AionWh sniffer tool released by AionWh.

1: What is this program for ?
This program will generate locally on your computer a file of
all items the mobs dropped in your Aion session.
And thus you can upload it to AionWh, to create an up to date drop database.
2: How does it work, and how do I know this is not a keylogger
The program works by sniffing packets on your network card.
As soon as the server send you drop infos, the program see
the packets and grab them into a file .
Of course, this is not a key logger, and it does not send any
packet to the Internet
If you have a firewall installed on your computer, you can safely
deny all internet access to aws.exe
.
3: How to do the first install ?
Follow the following steps:
a: Double click on WinPcap_4_0.exe this will install WinPcap DLLs, they are needed .
b: Reboot.
c: Copy aws.exe where you want .
d: Click on "Setup" button.
e: Type in your AionWh login
if you don't have a AionWh account yet, just create one it's FREE.
4: How to do an upgrade
Follow the following step:
a: overwrite the old aws.exe with the new one.
5: How to uninstall ?
Follow the 2 following steps:
a: delete aws.exe
b: Go on Add/remove programs and remove WinPcap.
6: How to use ?
Follow the following steps:
a: Run aws.exe (double click on it)
b: Play as normal
c: Quit Aion
d: Click on "upload drops"
e: Select the file Awh_Drop.dat and upload it
Nota: if you are afraid of password stealing, you can start aws
after you logged in, but before you select your server .
7: How to upload data ?
Easy, click on "Upload Drops", a browser will be launched .
and select the file AWH_Drop.dat located where aws.exe is .
8: Authentication
You should authenticate your uploads to get your time credit.
Just click on Setup and type your login in the "AionWh login" field.
if you don't have one, just create one it's FREE .
9: How to report bugs ?
Please, report bugs on the official forum of L2WH, ie http://www.l2wh.com/forum (http://www.l2wh.com/forum/../forum)
on the section "bugs" .
10: Known Incompatibilies.
- Only NCSOFT official NA/EU servers are supported.
- Some Wireless cards are not supported.
- Some networks cards are incompatible ..
