Can I still use l2encdec v2.92 (zip) for the new update today? or do we have to wait for a new version?

Well I am waiting to use it until a new NO gameguard patch comes out. I wont be able to modify any files until I apply a NO GG patch, so no use until then.

why you won't be able?

you can modify files, either u have or haven't noGG patch.

Yes I can modify files right now, but if I modify them I can not play with those files on retail(until I use a NO GG patch). To play with modified files on retail you need to kill Gameguard.

you don't need to kill gameguard.

where u get this info?

there are only few modifications of l2.ini which are checked by gameguard, actualy it's only checking, if you are not redirecting game, to another server trough l2.ini.

almost all files u can enc-decript with l2encdec 2.92 on gracia part 2.

just transformdata.dat is unreadable by l2 asm-disam to txt mode.

freebot it depends on what kind of patching you wish to do... if you simple wish to edit systemmsg.dat or something similar then you do not need to kill gg you only need to kill gg if you wish to edit the zoom. personally i find that the increased zoom is more of a nuisance than a benefit.

I got reports that also recipe-c.dat is messy (for all ct2.x).

I should probably update the stuff.

Not only that. weapongrp is also messy. (I'm not using l2encdec for that
file anyway, I have my own depacker - if you need info about what I have changed to make it working, just ask)

Also systextures/icons.utx is a mess for all new things added in Gracia.
(the rest looks ok, but gracia-specific stuff is messy)
